UAB Sustainability for Regions (S4R) is a closed joint-stock company established in 2020. It is engaged in activities tackled to enhance the sustainability of regional development. The primary activity is to provide a platform for scientists, practitioners, and other stakeholders to exchange their research and views in the area of peculiarities and challenges of regional development. The company's aims and scope of activity are provided below:
Aims & scope of activity:
- Consultations in the area of regional development with a particular focus on circular economy, energy efficiency and energy security via engagement of society and other stakeholders;
- Consultations in the areas of business and management, international cooperation, project writing, and project management;
- The company can offer its expertise in the area of pre-evaluation of project proposal drafts, which are being prepared for submission for grants competition announced by the European Union and other donors;
- Publishing, printing, disseminating;
- Organizing of conferences, seminars, round tables and other public events;
- Partnership with other organizations and clusters, active participation in projects' activities supported by the European Union within the framework of Horizon Europe and similar ones;
- Participation in international projects directed towards a broad range of activities aimed at fostering sustainable regional development;
- Engagement in research and development activities in the social sciences area;
- Participation in life-long learning, mobility, and facilitating international employability of personnel. The company has the infrastructure and financial capacity required to implement activities of similar character.
